Daniel was accompanied by Ed Gmitrowicz, Innovate UK’s Project Monitoring Officer and an environmental consultant, and Dr Sarah Connolly, CEng MIMMM, Innovation Lead - Transforming Foundation Industries at Innovate UK. The group viewed the progress on our Innovate UK-funded project. Re-Gen is the lead partner and is working with four Northern-Ireland based companies on a unique carbon reduction project using recycled materials.

Sarah, Ed and Daniel saw the functionality of our latest upgrade and discussed a range of issues related to the waste industry, such as the deployment of AI technology and the changing face of consumer plastics.
