Digger Driver
We are currently recruiting for the role of Digger Driver to join our growing team based in our site in Newry working within a Waste to Energy plant. This position is available for weekend work. Key Duties:
- Operating Digger safely
- Digging foundations and levelling ground
- Drainage installation and slinging pipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
Essential Criteria:
- 5+ years plus experience
- Track machine experience
- Valid Digger Ticket
- Valid CRS
- Pipe Laying experience
- Ground Works experience
- Foundation experience
- Knowledge of general construction operations
- Must be willing to work as a groundworker when plant is not in use
- Ability to work unsupervised, individually and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
- Great work ethic and attitude
- Competent & Careful
- Excellent Communication
- Full Driving Licence and access to own transport
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newry BT35 6QH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Desirable Criteria:
- Dozer experience
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Location: Newry
Remuneration: Attractive
Hours of work: Two weeks of Day Shift, followed by two weeks of Night Shift
