Apprenticeships: earn while you learn
We’re delighted to welcome seven apprentices to the Re-Gen Group of companies.
Working four days during the week, each apprentice will study at Southern Regional College for a 2-3 year Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) or a 2-year Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Garreth McConville (Group HR Manager) on the left with Ellie Gibbs (Accountancy), Ross Graham (Technical Design & Manufacture, Re-Gen Robotics), Karyn Feehan (Digital Marketing, Advertising & Communication), Joseph Braham (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance), Matthew Downey (Welding & Fabrication), Joseph Crilly (Mechatronics, Connex Offsite), Daniel Brown (Welding & Fabrication) and Piotr Chmielowiec (HR Officer at the Re-Gen Group).
Our Managing Director, Joseph Doherty, said: “As someone who did a BTEC in building and civil engineering, I know from experience that there are alternative paths to university and full-time employment. I preferred assessments over exams. BTECs and apprenticeships offer great opportunities. This year the Re-Gen Group – Re-Gen Waste, Re-Gen Robotics and Connex Offsite – has recruited seven apprentices in Accountancy, Technical Design & Manufacture, Digital Marketing, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Mechatronics, and Welding & Fabrication. It’s great news for the company.”
Congratulations to everyone on their new role and we wish them every success in the future.
