Odour in Warrenpoint is a complex issue in a busy working harbour — and facts matter.

An independent report commissioned by WHA (February 2024) concluded that multiple potential odour sources exist in and around the harbour, yet Re-Gen is often wrongly assumed to be the sole cause. This occurred last June where an odour was attributed to Re-Gen when in fact it was telegraph poles !
