Customer Relationship Manager
What do you do at Re-Gen?
I’m the Customer Relationship Manager and I’ll be developing and overseeing excellent working relationships with Re-Gen’s customers.
What are you most proud of?
Aside from my husband and two kids, I’d say my most proud moment was running a half marathon in aid of Alzheimer’s in 2017. Being a complete novice at running before I started training, it was a real personal achievement and a charity close to my heart, having lost my father to the illness a few years previously.
Tell us an interesting fact?
This year I have taken up a new interest – I’m learning about investing in the stock market.
How did you get here?
I was with my previous employer for almost 20 years in a number of positions, so it was a huge change and decision to move to Re-Gen.
Having completed extensive research into Re-Gen, it was clear that the company was in an exciting phase of expansion, one of the leading innovators in their sector and, importantly, a successful family-owned local business. I applied for the position of Customer Relationship Manager earlier in the year and have been made feel very welcome into the business.

John Murnion
Head of Strategic and Commercial Finance
What do you do at Re-Gen?
I’ve held three posts at Re-Gen Waste: Management Accountant (2016-2019), Finance Manager (2019-2021) and Head of Strategic and Commercial Finance (April 2021-present). My role within Re-Gen is to work with various members of the wider team – and the sister companies Re-Gen Robotics and Connex Offsite.
I work alongside the tendering team when submitting a tender proposal for a new contract and help to build business plans for new business ideas. These plans allow us to evaluate each idea so we can prioritise attention. They also allow us to identify any unanswered questions or assumptions that we need to investigate further before we can fully evaluate an idea. When the business plan is up and running, I assess how the actual workings of the idea compare to what we had modelled when we were initially evaluating the idea.
I also help evaluate and put into figures any potential efficiencies which members of the team suggest that we as a company could make. These efficiencies may be time or money saving or involve providing a better all-around service.
